​Dr. Philipp Irmscher

Philipp Irmscher studied law with additional training in economics (WiWiZ) at the University of Bayreuth from October 2010 to July 2015 (Research focus: public commercial law). Since 2012, he has been supported by the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes as a scholarship holder of the Max Weber Programme of the Free State of Bavaria for the promotion of highly gifted students according to the Bavarian Elite Promotion Act. From 2011 to September 2013 he worked as student assistant and tutor at the Chair of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedural Law, esp. Economic Criminal Law and Medical Law held by Professor Jäger. As of October 2013, he was a student assistant and tutor at the Chair of Criminal Law III held by Professor Nestler. He passed the first legal examination on 7/7/2015 (day of the oral state examination) in the term 2015/I in free attempt (awarded as Best of the Year in the term 2015/I by RWalumni). In August 2015, he started his work as research associate for Professor Nestler.  As of May 2016, Philipp Irmscher was holder of a PhD Scholarship by the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes.  He completed his dissertation entitled "Publicity as a Sanction: Banking Supervision Between Repression and Prevention - A Classification of "Naming and Shaming" in the KWG System of Sanctions" in November 2017 with summa cum laude.

​Dr. Maren Richter

Maren Richter, born in 1987, studied law at the Friedrich-Schiller University of Jena from October 2007 to September 2012 with the focus area criminal science. From November 2012 to October 2014, she completed her legal clerkship in Thuringia, Regional Court District Gera. She passed the second legal examination on 11/6/2014 (day of the oral examination). From November 2014 to October 2017 she was a research associate at the Chair of Criminal Law III at the University of Bayreuth.

From May 2015 to October 2017, Maren Richter was Women’s Representative of the RW-faculty.

​Dr. Enrico Stenzel

Enrico Stenzel, born in 1980, studied law at the European University Viadrina, Frankfurt (Oder) from 2001 to 2003, and from 2003 to 2007 with the elective subject tax law at the University of Bayreuth, where he also completed the additional training in economicswith a focus on "Finance and Banking" as well as subject-specific foreign language training in English. From 2007 to 2009 he completed his legal clerkship in the OLG districts of Bamberg and Munich with part-time work for Dr. Hieber und Kollegen, Bayreuth, as well as legal and elective stations at Beiten Burkhardt, Pöllath + Partners and Peters, Schönberger & Partner, both in Munich. At the beginning of the year 2010, Mr. Stenzel successfully passed the examination for the theoretical specialist attorney training "Tax Law" at the Steuer & Wirtschafts-Akademie Berlin and subsequently worked as a lawyer for the economic law firm Kiethe Rechtsanwälte at its Munich office. Since September 2012, he has been a research associate at the Chair of Criminal Law III at the University of Bayreuth. Enrico Stenzel is admitted as a lawyer at the Bamberg Law Society.

Kristin Kleber

Kristin Kleber studied law at the University of Bayreuth from April 2012 to March 2017 (focus area VI: Business, Medical and Tax Criminal Law). She passed the first legal examination on 7/7/2017(day of the oral state examination) in the term 2017/I. During her studies, she was a student assistant at the Chair of Criminal Law III for Professor Nestler.  From October 2013 to February 2015, she worked as a tutor in the Basic Course Criminal Law I (Criminal Law AT) in parallel.  From October 2017 to March 2018, she worked at this chair as a side-job research assistant and held, among other things, propaedeutic exercises in the Basic Course Criminal Law I (Criminal Law AT). From September 2017 to March 2018, she was a working student at Siemens AG in Erlangen in the department Legal & Compliance. Since April 2018 Kristin Kleber has been a law clerk OLG district Bamberg and research associate at the Dean's Office of Studies, where she is responsible for the coordination of key qualification courses.

Albert Kochs studied law with additional training in economics (WiWiZ) at the University of Bayreuth from March 2011 to March 2017 (focus area VI: Business, Medical and Tax Criminal Law). He passed the first legal examination on 1/16/2017(day of the oral state examination) in the term 2016/II. During his studies, Albert Kochs worked as student assistant from October 2012 to September 2013 at the Chair of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedural Law, esp. Economic Criminal Law and Medical Law held by Professor Jäger. From October 2013 to March 2017, he was a student assistant at the Chair of Criminal Law III held by Professor Nestler. From July 2013 to February 2015, he was simultaneously employed as a tutor for the General Part and the Special Part of Criminal Law. From April 2017 to September 2017, he worked as a part-time research assistant at the chair. From October 2017 to October 2020 he was a research associate at the Chair of Criminal Law III at the University of Bayreuth.

Helge A. Wiechmann studied law with additional training in economics (WiWiZ) at the University of Bayreuth from October 2011 to March 2017 (focus area VI: Business, Medical and Tax Criminal Law. He passed the First Juristic State Exam on 7/18/2017(day of the oral state examination) in the term 2017/I. During his studies, from October 2014 to January 2017 he worked as a tutor for the General Part of Criminal Law at the Chair of Criminal Law III held by Professor Nestler. From October 2017 to October 2020, Helge A. Wiechmann was a research associate at the Chair of Criminal Law III held by Professor Nestler as well as at the Office of the Dean of Studies - there he was responsible for the coordination of the exam preparation.
