Textbook on banking and capital market criminal law

The banking sector as well as the capital market itself are not only in the focus of the daily press, but also on the agenda of numerous economic criminal law focus areas. Alongside the basics, systematics and interrelationships of banking and capital market criminal law, the textbook also passes on the most recent research findings and current developments within these legal areas directly to students and practitioners. This is of particular value in the extremely dynamic area of banking criminal law. The fields of banking and capital market criminal law can only really be tackled with the necessary contextual knowledge and a legally comprehensive approach due to their strong interrelationship with civil law, public law and Union law. This applies to core criminal offences (e.g. § 263 StGB or § 266 StGB), to special offences (e.g. §§ 264a, 265b StGB) as well as to specific secondary criminal law (BörsG, DepotG, KWG, WpHG). It is the aim of the textbook to establish the respective connection and at the same time consider the factual background.
